On Thursday January 13th, 2022 I turned the corner of the trail and there it was.... Machu Picchu!
Developed by the Inca nation, it was lost to the jungle and only "rediscovered" in the early 1900's. To this day, it is unknown what purpose the city fulfilled. Truly humbling....
